It could be, and this depends on the Canton where you are looking to stay, that some jobs are only offered to Swiss people. In this case you can ask for an establishment permit which allows you to apply for these kinds of jobs as well. Switzerland has a lot of offices especially for foreigners affairs. One of them is the Federal Department of foreigners affairs (EDA). This Department is connected with the Swiss Review, a newspaper that provides information about politics, government activities and also job offers. It is published six times a year. You can also find Swiss Radio all-year-round that gives foreigners the same kind of information the newspaper does. Both are an advisory booklet to the Swiss abroad. Another important department is the Federal Department for foreigners questions (BFA) which also helps you in administration affairs (documents etc). The EDA and the BFA are public organisations. You can also find many private organisations like the business-team-network. This centre corresponds with the University of the Italian Switzerland, and so it presents a lot of job offers, especially for people who are entering the business world for the first time. Like in many other countries it is always possible to find job offers in the newspapers. > USEFUL LINKS > LOCAL PAPERS > FOR MORE INFORMATION TELEJOB | |
