You should contact your local Embassy of Ukraine to ask for further information regarding residency permits, because the requirements tend to change according to your nationality and how long you are planning to stay in Ukraine. These procedures take from 3 to 6 months to be carried out, so please make all the necessary arrangements well in advance. Web resources for Ukraine are scarce. You will find some links that might have the information you were looking for. The most useful way of looking for a job in Ukraine is browsing through local papers. There is a list of some newspapers in English (on the Internet) where you can post and read job offers online. Once you are in the country, a basic knowledge of the language might come in handy.
